As y’all know, finals and graduation season are currently in full swing. Although I’m nowhere near graduating any time soon, this past weekend, I had the privilege of attending my cousin’s graduation from the University of Illinois. I had one of the most memorable weekends of my life and I thought I’d share my experience with y’all. Walking around the campus and witnessing the beginning of many people’s lives was an unforgettable experience.. Here we go!
A couple hours beforehand, we packed and got my cousin’s graduation present wrapped. Then, we headed out the door to catch our flight. After we got past airport security, my dad and I sipped on some yummy green juices from Red Mango. Champaign, Illinois is a small college town a couple hours from Chicago, which means the airport was super tiny and the airplane we t0ok getting here was even smaller! We were both exhausted by the time we arrived at my cousin’s house. I had trouble keeping my eyes open! We had a quick dinner, took a shower, and went straight to bed.

Happy Easter Sunday, y’all! Aside from the fact that it started drizzling right after I got all of the food set up, I really hope y’all are having a wonderful day. I hope you’re spending this Sunday with your family and remembering what Easter is truly about, and not just decorating Easter eggs and posting about it on social media. Planning events is pretty challenging, especially Easter festivities. That’s why today I’m sharing the steps I took in the tedious preparations of putting together a successful Sunday brunch! Enjoy!

I just got back from my trip to Colorado this morning at about 2 o’clock, and I’m completely exhausted. Honestly, I’d get some rest, but I’m just too excited to share what I ate on my trip with y’all! We drove up to Colorado to go ski at Wolf Creek, and passed by New Mexico to and from Colorado. I got so many good photos and ate so much good food, so this is going to be a rather long post. I hope y’all will find this food guide helpful! xx
1. Whole Food’s (Santa Fe, NM)
On our way to Colorado, we stopped by Santa Fe (which is, by the way, the cutest little town ever!). We drove around until we stumbled upon this adorable adobe-style Whole Food’s Market! I was so hungry, and I was so happy that we’d found a place that felt kind of like home (because Whole Foods is basically my second home). I ordered a roasted asparagus tomato parmesan sandwich, with some roasted veggies and sweet potato fries! If any of y’all are planning to pass by Santa Fe, and you’re not sure where to eat, Whole Foods is always a great option.

There’s nothing better than knowing it’s Sunday, and that there’s no school on Monday (at least for me). Also, there’s nothing that I love more than a good road trip. Even though it can get a little boring at some points, the scenic views are absolutely gorgeous. Road tripping is probably one of my favorite ways to travel, so I thought I’d share some things that are essential on a long drive.

Wow, it’s been a pretty long time since I did my last favorite’s post! I’m so excited to be starting the series back up again. February has gone by so fast!
I’ve been planning a couple trips that my family and I are taking this year, and I’d really love to do some travel posts. Not just food (like my Florida food guide), but places to go and things to do. In addition to cooking, I love traveling and photography (even though I’m a beginner!). Let me know what y’all think!
